This is a 432 square foot roll of 15lb. black felt paper specially made for use as an underlayment paper for staple or nail down Hardwood Flooring. This felt paper helps to prevent moisture transfer from the subfloor to your new hardwood flooring. Our felt paper is Not the regular Roofing paper which can emit a harsh asphalt odor. For an easier installation, simply roll out the paper underlayment and place a board on each end to keep it from curling back to the roll over lapping the seams 4-6 inches. You can also use a hand stapler to tack it down to the subfloor.
