This is a 432 square foot roll of 15lb. black felt paper to be used over wood subfloors when installing hardwood flooring using the staple or nail down method. This felt paper helps to prevent moisture transfer from the subfloor to your new hardwood flooring. For an easier installation, simply roll out the paper underlayment and place a board on each end to keep it from curling back to the roll. You can also use a hand stapler to tack it down to the subfloor.
