Brazilian Cherry, also known as Jatoba, is one of the most popular exotic wood species. It is a very hard wood species and each floor is unique because of the wide range of natural color variation from blonde to dark reddish brown tones. Brazilian Cherry also has a very distinctive and varied graining pattern. The color of Brazilian Cherry will darken to a deep red with exposure to light, stabilizing about three months after installation. Janka hardness rating -- 2820.
